2nd Generation iPods

The iPod, The Nano, & The Shuffle get refreshed. The 2nd generation ones got brighter screen, longer playback time, all-aluminium bodies, more choosable colours, and some new ones with even larger storage capacity.

New software for the new iPods will follow shortly.

Unreal Tournament 2007 Delayed Again

The release of the long-awaited game, Unreal Tournament 2007 seems to be delayed again. The following is a quote from an article written by Fuad Abazovic from The Inquirer...

"We heard that the new date now aims for March 2007 and let's hope that is the final one. Lack of this game will affect a lot of people a lot but I guess that Epic didn’t delay things for the fun of it. There is a lot in stake for many as Unreal Tournament 2007 is about to push a few boundaries. It is hard to make a game and those guys are doing a heck of a good job."

PlayStation 2 Gets Fast & Furious

JAPANESE GAMES publisher Namco Bandai has confirmed that there will be a new version of a racing title called The Fast and the Furious.

The game is tied in to the release of a Universal Pictures motion picture presentation coincidently called The Fast and the Furious.

The new game will be released on the PSP and the PS2 this summer. There is a bit of history behind the game and movies. The first game was developed by an outfit called Genki several years ago and was based on the original movie. However, it was withdrawn and the new game is entirely different.

A spokesNamco said that the game will have some never-before-seen drift mechanics, endless customisation capabilities and top licensed cars. It's everything a racing fan could ask for sort of a real motor to play with, they say.

Hundreds of Danish Websites were Hacked

One of the latest hacks was the hardware site Hardinfo.dk, it had its forums defaced yesterday - presumably as part of the backlash over cartoons which depicted the Islamic prophet, Mohammad, published months ago by a Danish newspaper.

Now, it's too much, a local newspaper did publish the controversial cartoons and everything in the country is suffering from attacks? Oh come on, that's not fair, definitely unacceptable, those websites have nothing to do with the cartoons, I think the prophet won't like those attacks too...

Microsoft Xbox 360 is Defective?

A Chicago man named Robert Byers who has just purchased his new Xbox 360 is sueing Microsoft because that new game console machine overheats and freezes up when he was playing a game.

He is aiming to get a class action which claims that Microsoft was in such a hurry to get the Xbox 360 onto the market before Nintendo that it sold a "defectively designed" product.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages and litigation-related expenses, as well as the replacement or recall of Xbox 360 game consoles.

Vole is insisting that there had only been a "very, very small fraction" of Xbox units that have overheated and besides doesn't like to talk about court cases.

New Firefox 1.5 Released!

The new version 1.5 of the rising-star browser, Firefox, was formally released yesterday.

It promises faster browser navigation with improvements to back and forward button performance, drag and drop reordering for browser tabs, better popup blocking and a quick Clear Private Data button.

For those who never used Firefox before (probably ones who still stick to the commonly used Internet Explorer), it's the right time to try it, it's legally free! I've used it for some months and so far this is one of the two fastest browsers I ever used.

Wow, wait wait... how can different browser affect my browsing speed? well this was also my question in the past when I was still using Internet Explorer. For people who have high-speed internet connections (like DSL, T1, and so on) You may not notice browsing speed changes over other browsers, but for those who use slow internet connections like dial-up, Firefox is a must to maximize Your internet browsing experience.

Isn't that all about browsing speed? Of course not, Firefox has many other useful and advanced features. I won't explain them all one by one, just click the title above, download the new Firefox and try it.

Dragonic Creatures Spotted in Tibet Sky

It's been about a month since this news leaked to the internet, but still, I feel it's still an interesting read for those who didn't know it yet.

Whether You believe in dragon or not, the site reported that a photographer spotted "dragon-like" objects while he's in a plane flying over Himalayas...

The site includes some photos of the dragons, from my point of view, they look like giant snakes...

I've been waiting & searching for the updates to the news, at least to find out more details , experts' opinions, and maybe some analysis on the photos (they might be fake or not). As soon as I find the updates, I'll post it here...

World's first Toilet College in Singapore.

This is an interesting news, World Toilet Organization will set up a college for those toilet cleaners, the article says that this will increase their skills and thus increasing their salaries.

Although some people will laugh at this article, I think it makes sense and it's a very good idea to improve and broaden the skills of toilet cleaners. Cleanliness matters, right?
